LaRue E. Duck, husband of Mrs. Eva C. Moore Duck, Hanover RD 1, died at 3:05 p.m. yesterday at Hanover General hospital. Death was due to a heart condition. He was 50.
Mr. Duck was employed by Kuhn’s Auto sales and was a member of Lohr’s Memorial EUB church and Sunday school. Surviving, besides his wife, are: Five children, Mrs. Arnold Olson, Red Lion; Robert L., Patricia A., James P, and Franklin P. Duck, all at home; six grandchildren, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Duck, 329 North Franklin Street; two brothers, Theodore Duck, 756 Broadway, and Clyde Duck, 329 North Franklin Street; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph R. Adams, McSherrystown; Mrs. John LeGore and Mrs. Merle James, both of 236 North Franklin Street.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle Street. His pastor, Rev. Dr. Russell C. Oyer, will officiate. Internment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
