Funeral services for Woodrow “Buddy” Hogard Jr, 83, of Monroe, will be held at 2PM Thursday November 11, 2021, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Rick McAdams officiating. Visitation will be at 1PM Thursday November 11, 2021, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Monroe, LA.
Mr. Hogard was born April 1, 1938, in Lisbon, LA, and passed away Monday November 8, 2021, at Ouachita Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, LA.
Mr. Hogard retired from Ouachita Entergy after years of service. He loved his family, all animals, car racing, and working in the shop building race cars. He was a great mechanic that could work on any engine big or small. He enjoyed hanging out on the Ouachita River on his houseboat with friends and family. He loved to tell jokes and stories making people laugh.
Mr. Hogard was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Hogard Sr., his mother, Dorothy Hogard, his beloved wife Helen Ivy Hogard.
Survivors include sons, Keith Hogard, and his wife Charlene, Kevin Hogard and his wife Christi, Kreig Hogard and his wife Denise. Grandchildren Kristin and Nathan Duck, Taylor and Peyton Jones, Dalton and Jessica Griffin, Alyssa Griffin. Five great grandchildren.
