Betty L. Duck Olson, 75, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at 7:28 p.m. at her residence. She was the wife of Arnold T. Olson. Born in Hanover, Jan. 6, 1930, she was the daughter of Eva C. (Moore) Myers of Hanover and the late LaRue E. Duck. Mrs. Olson was a 1946 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover, and attended Thompson Business College, York. She retired as a loan officer from the Aluminum Workers Federal Credit Union, Lebanon. She was formerly employed by the Lebanon VAH Federal Credit Union. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Iona, Lebanon where she was a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class and sang in the choir for over 20 years. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Thomas B. Olson of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Sharon L. Lehman of Annville; a sister, Patricia A. Wright of Hanover; three brothers, Robert L. Duck and Franklin P. Duck, both of Hanover, and James P. Duck of Wellsville; three grandchildren; a step grandchild; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday from Zion United Methodist Church of Iona, 1920 S. 5th Avenue, Lebanon. A viewing will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
