Linda Parrinello, 71, daughter of late Ruth and Charlie Deger of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away tragically on May 28, 2021. A long time Ocala, FL resident, Linda attended Poughkeepsie City School District, class of 1968, and for years called Hyde Park, NY home, where she raised her family.
In 1998, Linda moved to Ocala, FL, where she eventually met her surviving husband, Emanuel Parrinello. They married in 2003.
Linda was an avid reader, gardener, baker, thrift store shopper and Bible reader. She knew short hand and could type 100 WPM. Linda had a thirst for knowledge, was valued at every job she ever worked, and in 2007, at 57 years old, she obtained her Associate of Science/Legal Assistant. Her abundance of knowledge made her a great trivia partner, a fluent conversationalist, which made her an amazing host. Linda was always planning dates to spend time with her family and loved ones.
Linda’s memory will be cherished by her children; Kelly Hoose (Leominster, MA), Lisa Hoose (Portsmouth, RI), Lucy Hoose (Ocala, FL), Julie Nardi (Poughkeepsie, NY), Eric Hoose and his wife, Kristen (Apex, NC), and her step-children; Dianna Renard and husband, Gary (Sweetwater, TN ), and Manny Parrinello (Sweetwater, TN). Linda has 13 grandchildren that she adored; Bishop, Elijah, Alexzia, Briyanna, Camryn, Jovani, Andreo, Angelina, Rowan, Stephen, Giulianna, Stella, and Michael. She was expecting her 4th great-grandchild in August 2021.
Linda was the oldest of 3 siblings; Ruth Shook (Villages, FL), and was preceded in death by Paul Ireland. Linda was blessed with many nieces, nephews, an abundance of friends, co-workers, and extended family members that loved her.
