Ronald Betz, of Highland Park, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 69. Born in New Brunswick, and raised in Highland Park, he lived in Cliffwood Beach before moving back to Highland Park 9 years ago.
Ron was a HVAC technician and owned RB Zones in Cliffwood Beach for 30 years, before retiring. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed fishing, Willie Nelson music, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. He was very proud of becoming a recovering alcoholic on August 12, 1987.
He is predeceased by his father Heinz Betz, his sister Barbara Betz, and his brother-in-law Victor Feliciano.
Surviving is his beloved mother Kathe (Walter) Betz of Highland Park, his sister Carol Feliciano of Edison, his brother Robert Betz (Lisa) of Old Bridge; his step-children Edward Marshall (Heather) of New Brunswick, Jeannine Puritz (Steven) of North Brunswick, Charity Marshall of Highland Park and Jennifer Lynch (Michael) of Old Bridge; his 7 grandchildren Amaya, Ryleigh, Connor, Makainui, Curtis, Hanna and Jason; his nieces Kayla and Courtney; and his girlfriend Yuki,
Friends and relatives may call on Thursday, April 25th, from 10:00 am – 11:30 am at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 am. Burial will be at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
