Evelyn Bowman, age 97, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, surrounded by family. Evelyn was born in Danville, Illinois on January 15, 1925.
Evelyn graduated from Danville High School in 1943. She received her cosmetology license and owned several beauty salons in Largo, Florida. She was a Hospice volunteer for 25 years, loved bowling, enjoyed playing cards and loved her family fiercely.
She was married to Robert Marana from April 18, 1943 until his death. She was married to Robert M. Bowman in 1949 until his passing in 2002. She is survived by her children, Jerry (Sandy) in Tallahassee, William (Debbie), in Pennsylvania, and Susan in Clearwater. She has 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Katie, Jessica, Trisha and Alex. She also has two great granddaughters, Isabella and Gabriella.
