Eva Duck Myers, 95, entered into God’s eternal care 6:30 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of the late LaRue Duck and the late C. Arthur “Bud” Myers.
Born in Harney, Md. on December 1, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Willis W. and Rietta Yealy Moore.
Mrs. Myers had been employed at Hanover Pen. She was a member of Lohr’s Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Myers was well thought of by all who her knew her and will always be remembered as a caring person, and a hard worker whether it was on the family farm or in one of our local factories.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Patricia Wright and husband Edward of Hanover; her three sons Robert L. Sr. and wife Margaret “Peggy” Duck of Hanover, James P. and wife Cindy Duck of Wellsville and Franklin P. and wife Mari Duck of Hanover; stepson Kenneth Myers and wife Andrea of Oregon; 16 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; and four greatgreat-grandchildren. Mrs Myers was also preceded in death by a daughter Betty L. Olson, and a brother Theron Moore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday at Lohr’s Memorial United Methodist Church, 200 E. Middle St., Hanover. Viewings will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Her Pastor the Rev. Samuel Velez will officiate.
