William C. Imhoff Jr., forty-five, New Cumberland R1, died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, from a heart attack suffered earlier in the day.

A native of Lancaster, he was a son of Mrs. Mabel Rudy Imhoff, New Cumberland RD, and the late William C. Imhoff; and was a resident of the New Cumberland area for nine months.  Before that he resided at Cortland, N.Y.

He was a watchmaker and manager of the LaVias Jewelry Store, at the West Shore Plaza; and was a member of the Second Church of the Brethren, York; American Legion, Post 489, Cortland, N.Y.; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7415, New Cumberland; the American Watchmakers Institute, Champaign, Ill.

In addition to his mother and his wife, the former Thelma J. Bewley, surviving are four children: William Harry, Carl Clayton, Rebecca Ruth and Sarah Jane, all at home; a brother and four sisters: Lewis F., Harrisburg; Mrs. Michael Vena, Linden, N.J.; Mrs. Joseph Lopp, Florida; and Mrs. Thomas Hirschbiel, Phillipsburg, Pa.; a step-sister, Mrs. June Allison, Melbourne, Fla.; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Harry S. Imhoff, Lancaster.

Imhoff – Entered into rest in Camp Hill on Oct. 25, 1966. William C. Imhoff Jr., husband of Thelma J. Bewley Imhoff, New Cumberland R1, a native of Lancaster, in his 46th year.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Bareville Church of the Brethren, Saturday, 2 p.m.  The Rev. Paul D. Wenger officiating.  Internment in Eby’s Cemetery, near Monterey, in Upper Leacock Twp.  Friends may call at the Bareville Church of the Brethren on Saturday, from noon until the time of the service.  The Stradling Funeral Home, Akron, in charge.
