Mrs. Olive J. Rose, 86, of Saltsburg, died Thursday, June 28, 1979 at Cameron Manor, Indiana.
A daughter of Clark W. and Rebecca Cochran Speedy, she was born March 23, 1893 at Derry.
Mrs. Rose was a member of the Saltsburg United Presbyterian Church and of the Saltsburg Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two sons, Jacob and Richard, both of Saltsburg, three daughters, Mrs. T.M. (Marjorie) Rutherford, Harrisburg, Mrs. Jean Baker, Middletown, Mrs. George (Betty) Gernak, Harrisburg, also one sister, Mrs. Mary Dick, Saltsburg, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Titian, and one son, Raymond.
Friends will be received from 7-9 pm Sunday at the Joseph R. Hunter Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where services will be held at 1 pm Monday, with the Rev. AB Conn officiating. Internment will be in the Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg.
